Istanbul Arbitration Days
The joint conference of the Russian Arbitration Association and Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Centre (ITOTAM) "Arbitration Days Contemporary Topics in and Future of Arbitration" took place on November 17, 2017 in Istanbul (Turkey).
The conference was dedicated to the questions of arbitration involving Russian and Turkish companies, such as arbitration of corporate disputes, the impact of anti-Russia sanctions on dispute resolution, recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards in Russia and Turkey. The conference gatherd over 100 legal professionals.
Roman Zykov gave an overview of the law and case law of the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in Russia.
The conference was concluded by the RAA and ITOTAM signing the Cooperation Agreement.
