Lifting an aircraft freezing injunction

Feb 29, 2020

Mansors' litigation team obtained a court order lifting a controversial freezing injunction over an aircraft, which belongs to one of the largest global financial institutions based in Switzerland, with operations in more than 50 countries.

The freezing injunction was initially granted in early 2019 as part of a lawsuit against the former directors of a Russian leading bank - Promsvyazbank (PSB).

Mansors challenged the injunctive relief in the Moscow Arbitrazh (Commercial) Court, which ordered to release the aircraft from arrest. The decision was upheld by the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal.

The client was represented by Mikhail Samoylov, Victoria Gladysheva, and Roman Zykov.
